Etnies Shoes
Etnies has always been at the forefront of the sustainability discussion within skateboarding, BMX and more recently the MTB industry. Since the beginning, owner Pierre-André Senizergues has acted towards the sustainability of its business to preserve the planet we shred on. In the 90’s, he had already thought and built the etnies headquarters with only recycled materials, and put over 600 solar panels on its roof. More recently, etnies has further cemented its Earth sustaining values with the project: “Buy a Shoe, Plant a Tree”.
So what does this project involve?
“At etnies, we’re proud to stand with Trees For The Future, together we’ve planted over 2 Million trees since 2011. We’re excited to announce we’ve expanded our Buy a Shoe, Plant a Tree project to cover all footwear styles in our 2020 collection.”
They have planted over 2 million trees since they have dropped this project and that is just fantastic!
