Chicksands Bike Park Reopens

Chicksands Bike Park announced that they will reopen today (May 13th) after their chairman Steve spoke with the Forestry Commission. The post was shared on their Social Media pages yesterday (May 12th).

The bike park, like many other bike parks across the UK has been shut since lockdown rules were enforced due to the Coronavirus global pandemic. Chicksands is one of the first if not the first park to announce that it will be reopening.

Anti-Covid rules still apply and social distancing rules will be enforced at all times.

They are limiting the amount of people allowed into the park to 90. They have stated that if max numbers are reached then they will enforce a 1-in-1-out rule.

Chicksands have clearly stated on their social media that if you want to visit at the weekend then you MUST pre-book via phone with Steve and that does include park members.

They are implementing 2 ride slots per day. 9am-2pm and 2.30pm-6.30pm with a total of 90 riders per session. This will be on a first come first served basis and with many if not all other bike parks shut demand is likely to be high so get in early.

Payment via card is preferred. This includes Apple pay.

Spectators are allowed but will be part of the 90 limit in the park so riders will get first priority.

If you want to book or get more information you can contact Steve on 07774262557
