Team Chain Reaction Cycles Nukeproof 2021
Nukeproof are proud to be extending our partnership with Team Chain Reaction Cycles-Nukeproof. For the 2021 season, we will be the official wheel supplier to the Enduro World Championship outfit.
Launched in 2020 the Horizon V2 Wheels will complement the rest of our award-winning Horizon components the team have already been using. We see the Enduro World Series as the ultimate test for any wheelset. It’s the perfect proving ground to demonstrate the performance, durability and strength on the most challenging terrain in the world to our customer riders.
From Nigel Page, Team CRC-Nukeproof Manager:
“2021 marks a new chapter for the team in swapping to the new Nukeproof Horizon wheels from Mavic wheels, which the team has been using for the last 12 years.
Wheels are an important part of the package in creating a race bike that not only performs and looks great but can also get a racer through a demanding EWS race weekend. The new Nukeproof Horizon wheels are amazing. All credit to the Nukeproof product team who have developed them. We have done extensive testing on the wheels and we were blown away by how long the wheels lasted without any issue’s and how fast they roll. On top of that, the noise the rear wheel makes puts a big smile on any riders face.
Roll” on the 2021 races, we can’t wait.”
So far during pre-season testing, the Horizon V2 wheels have quickly won over the confidence of Sam Hill, Elliott Heap, Kelan Grant and Nigel Page, as well as mechanic Jacy Schumilak. Alongside the wheels, the team will also use our rim tape, valves and ARD system when required.
All products used will be the same stock components that are on sale now through Nukeproof retailers. In addition to this, we are also excited to work alongside the team for some exciting future projects too.
