The Protobrand Race Line gloves are lightweight, comfortable glove that fits nice and snuggly. I appreciate the lack of velcro strap, as velcro always gets snagged on clothing. The elastic on the wrist is stretchy enough to allow you to get the gloves on and off easily but still keeps the glove firmly in place.
The gloves offer plenty of grip when riding even in wet weather. Although the material is thin it is durable and is still going strong with a couple of months of riding.
The thumb features a panel of fabric that wraps around. This prevents friction rubbing from the bars making your thumb sore and is a nice addition to the gloves.
Another nice feature that Protobrand have considered with these gloves are the pads on the fingertips that let you use touch screens on mobile phones and sat-nav devices without requiring you to take your gloves off.
Overall the Protobrand Race Line gloves are a great quality MTB glove with lots of features. I would like to see some more designs from Protobrand though.
