Privateer 161 GX Available for Preorder now

Privateer’s award-winning and EWS-proven platform is now available with SRAM’s all-new GX Eagle groupset. Matching our steep 80˚ seat angle with GX’s 520% range means there isn’t an incline you can’t climb, all whilst staying fresh so you drop in race-ready, whether it’s an EWS stage or mate’s race to the bottom.

Available in Raw (pictured), Blue or Grey with colour matched copper graphics.

Pre-order now for arrival July Week 4, perfect timing for those long summer evenings and prime early Autumn conditions.

To celebrate launching the new GX model, Privateer has teamed up with Sam Taylor to film ‘Sound for 60’ Ep.1 with Chris Sutcliffe on his home trails. Enjoy!

What do you think of the Privateer 161 GX? Although we haven’t been lucky enough to get our hands on one yet, I’ve seen a few Privateer bikes out in the wild at races and on the trails and I must say that they look stunning. The geometry and lines make them look fast and capable plus the way they were being ridden proved this. Hopefully, we can get a test ride in the near future.
