Fazua X Cairn Range Extension Pack
There comes a time in the life of every E-Bike rider when they’ll want to carry a spare battery. Maybe because charging faclities are few and far between, or the ride is further than one battery can manage. We have responded to this need and created the Fazua Range Extension Pack.
Thanks to the fact that the FAZUA Evation E-Bike battery only weighs 1.4kg (that’s about as much as a full water bottle) it is easily possible to carry an extra one on the bike. However, although highly waterproof, it does have exposed terminals at one end. This means that when it is not in use they need to be protected. So, for those times when a spare battery needs carrying or storing, we have designed a custom case specifically to fit the FAZUA Evation battery and protect it from the elements when it is on the bike.
The case is made from EVA or Ethylene-vinyl acetate which is commonly used material thanks to it being resistant to water, heat, and UV. We combined with a waterproof zip which will keep out the worst of the weather. The Fazua X Cairn Range Extension Pack is designed (and supplied) with the Blackburn Outpost Cage and can also be used with other utility or cargo cages. Mounting is done with the 2 webbed loops on the top of the case keeping it secure no matter what you use to hold it in place.
Thanks to the fantastic new Fazua Motor Software update Black Pepper and the ability to carry a second battery safe and securely on your bike, the range of a Fazua powered E-Bike has dramatically increased, potentially offering nearly 300km. Now that is an E-Adventure!
