Morsa Brand now distributed by Gone Biking Mad in the UK
Gone Biking Mad has just announced Morsa as a new brand to add to their UK Distribution arsenal. Morsa design and manufacture mounts for bikes allowing you to mount multiple items securely to your bikes such as Garmin, other GPS Devices and GoPros to your bike.
In 2010 while training for the 2011 Counting Coup race, Morsa’s founder’s coach put them on a heart rate training program. They found themselves constantly looking down at my then-just-released Garmin 500 and, as a result, had several near misses on their training runs.
During this time, they noticed a friend’s bike with a SRM computer mounted out-front. Later that night, they sketched an out-front mount for their Garmin 500. Although there was no product like it on the market at that time, they became too busy at work, and the sketches began collecting dust. By the time they were ready to create their out-front mount, there were others on the market. So, Morsa focused on ways they could improve the front mount.
In Italian, Morsa means clamp or vice. But, the MORSA product is so much more than just a clamp; it’s an out-front, adjustable device mount that gives you the ability to add or remove two devices on a single mount. After spending years on research, design, and testing, MORSA is proud to release our innovative, easy-to-use product to the cycling biking community.
The MORSA mounting system attaches to a 31.8 mm diameter Road, Mountain, Gravel or City bike handlebar. It features one mounting arm and multiple adapters with the option of mounting up to two devices on one arm. The mounting system is fully adjustable allowing you to slide your devices back and forth or rotate them into most positions. The mounting arm and each adapter centre your devices out front and in the middle of your bike.
