Fox has been very busy updating the line of suspension they have to offer for 2021 even adding the new 38 fork. So what changes have been made to the trail conquering Fox 34 fork. Let’s find out.

So the 2021 Fox 34 fork, unlike the 36, 38 and 40 the fork doesn’t get a new lower leg chassis with the redesigned arch and air bleed valves but it has had one significant upgrade to last years model and that is the famous Grip 2 damper. The Grip 2 damper gives you a huge amount of adjustability on the Low and High speed compression as well as the Low and High speed rebound but what’s even better is that for 2021 the damper has VVC installed. So what’s VVC? Here’s what Fox has to say.

“Our GRIP2 damper is the benchmark for unparalleled ride quality and ultra-precise on-the-fly adjustability. For 2021, we’ve taken GRIP2 to the next level by adding our patented VVC technology to the high-speed compression circuit.”

“VVC is a proprietary variable valve control system that allows for external fine-tuning of suspension performance. GRIP2 achieves with the twist of a knob what typically requires the time consuming and complicated task of completely disassembling and reassembling the fork.”
