Bellingham USA based Transition Bikes have just announced a brand new Transition Sentinel 29r mountain bike with 150mm travel rear and 160mm front.
The Sentinel MTB has been designed to be a “hard charging all-rounder” which puts it square in the All Mountain bike category. They say that the bike is playfully and poppy yet would not be out of place racing at the EWS.
Transition Bikes have a strong cult following and can boast many world cup downhill titles through now ex-team rider Tahnee Seagrave who has now moved onto Canyon. This new bike has been added to an already well received stable such as the new Scout, Smuggler and Patrol.
Details
The carbon frame comes in two colour ways, Ti Grey and Loam Gold. It also comes with three different build packages X01, GX and NX which has become a theme with recent releases from Transition.
The bike is also following the trend of many of their bikes using there Giddyup suspension design which Transition claim it has been “designed to behave intuitively whether you’ve setup correctly or not.””
As a Transition Bike owner myself I am keen to keep my eyes on this new steed and see what the MTB Community thinks.
