Tyre Juice by Juice Lubes
They released a new tyre sealant formula in 2019. This thinner formula coats tyres easily and will plug holes up to 7mm. Tested by world cup athletes such as Brendan Fairclough and Phil Atwill we have high hopes for this stuff.
Tyre Juice is a World Cup downhill used, abused and approved sealant for Brendan Fairclough, Phil Atwill and friends to tubeless their tyres.
Tyre Juice wards off punctures and pinch-flats by coating your rubber in a protective force field.
Slosh it in and you’ll enjoy a puncture-proof performance on the thorny roads and rocky trails. It also allows you to run lower pressures, meaning more grip, more comfort and more speed.
Tyre Juice comes in 3 different sizes. 140ml Pouches that cost £5.99 each, a 500ml bottle at £14.99 and a 5 Litre workshop size container for £89.99.
The product is non-corrosive and non-hazardous which is a big plus in my book. Especially with a product that could end up on trails when you get a puncture.
Juice Lubes Tyre Juice Review
In this review, I used the 140ml pouch. The process is very simple to do if your rims and tyres are already tubeless-ready.
All you need to do is pour the desired amount of sealant into your tyre either through the valve or by partially removing the tyre from the rim. Then pump up the tyre until it is fully seated on the rim, rotate the tyre to ensure sealant is moved around the entire tyre sealing any tiny holes and you are done. Just remember to reduce the tyre pressure to your desired pressure before riding.
The Tyre Juice sealant has particles in it to clog holes and fix punctures faster. Juice Lubes claim that the sealant can seal holes up to 7mm which is impressive.
Juice lubes also claim the sealant will last between 6-9 months and will not dry out or form a sealant ball like some competitors which I have personally experienced. So I am keen to keep this sealant in over the coming months for a longer-term test and to report back in the future.
Whilst testing this sealant I didn’t get any flats which is great news. I did, however, spot some sealant on my tyres and around the bead and rim. This means that I had, in fact, had a small puncture but the sealant had done its job and kept my tyres inflated.
I have had no issues with this product so far and would recommend it as a viable option as a tyre sealant.

Summary
A tyre sealant that is effective, easy to use and is non-hazardous and non-corrosive. It is also reasonably priced at 5.99 for 140m; and 14.99 for 500ml. I would recommend buying the 500ml as it is better for money. The pouches can be refilled however if you wanted to take a sealant pouch with you on a ride.
